About this template

This flow lets users turn any YouTube video into a clean, concise summaryβ€”no manual copy-paste. You submit a YouTube URL via a web form; the flow retrieves the transcript (via Supadata), concatenates it into a single text, summarizes it with AI, and writes the result into a Google Doc for easy reading and sharing. The end result is a readable Google Doc instead of raw transcript chunks. ## Flow Setup Guide: 1. Get Your Supadata API Key ‒ Obtain the API key from your Supadata account. ‒ Save this key in the flow configuration (Supadata HTTP piece headers). 2. Run Test Flow ‒ Click Test Flow in the Activepieces editor. ‒ Select the Web Form piece and click Draft Form URL. ‒ This gives you a form link where you can input the YouTube URL. 3. Fetch Transcript (Supadata) ‒ The flow calls Supadata with the provided YouTube URL to retrieve the transcript. ‒ Note: Videos without available/auto captions will return empty; choose another video in that case. 4. Concatenate Transcript ‒ The transcript chunks are merged into one continuous text so the summary is coherent. 5. Summarize Text (AI) ‒ The concatenated text is summarized by the Text AI piece. 6. Create Google Docs ‒ Connect your Google account in the Google Docs piece.
